Paris Fashion Week marks a triumphant end to fashion month, with French fashion houses and fan-favorite designers alike showing their highly anticipated Spring 2024 collections. The city of love — and the undisputed fashion capital of the world — didn’t disappoint with standout beauty moments like Dior’s slicked-back messy buns, AZ Factory’s rainbow-colored lashes and Saint Laurent’s ode to sultry smoky eyes.

Minimalistic makeup shined on Victoria Beckham’s runway where fresh-faced models donned wispy eyelashes, while maximalist looks prevailed at Marni via glittering lips and eyelids that accented the collection’s larger-than-life 3D floral dresses. Alexander McQueen sent models down Sarah Burton’s final runway for the house with crisp red lips — it’s a classic for a reason.

In contrast to Louis Vuitton’s diffused, chocolate-brown smoky eyes created by Pat McGrath, the eye look at Mame Kurogouchi centered around blue shimmering inner and outer corners, adding a galactic element to its runway, while Carven played with pops of lavender and green metallic shadows. The standout nail look came from Coperni: Metal accessories outlined the models’ nails for futuristic effect.

As for the must-see hair moments, Loewe’s models had slicked-back, Greaser-esque hair complete with smoothed-down sideburns, Dior channeled a sleek messy bun and Mugler experimented with stylistic hair parts and — yes, you guessed it — lots of hair gel.

An unexpected hair standout appeared on the Rabanne runway, where models wore baby hair strands plastered messily across their foreheads as if in an accidental bed-head moment. It lent a laid-back appeal and sense of balance to the glitz and glam of the collection itself.

Cecilie Bahnsen and Christopher Esber also embraced softer, effortless feeling hairstyles, choosing loose braids and free-flowing natural curls, respectively. Headbands were the reigning hair accessory of the Paris shows this season, with Chanel’s black floral headbands and Givenchy’s curved metal ones.
