Zendaya just wore the most 2000s-looking top ever.
After attending the Louis Vuitton Spring 2024 show, the actor-model did a quick outfit change, swapping her white gown for something a little more casual to hit the streets of Paris: Of course, it’s also a deeply referential outfit.
Styled by her longtime collaborator Law Roach, Zendaya paired light-wash jeans with an archival Louis Vuitton babydoll blouse from the brand’s Spring 2004 collection by Marc Jacobs. She accessorized the look with strappy white stilettos and a coveted and rare bag from the house’s collaboration with Takashi Murakami. For Zendaya, who is an ambassador of the French luxury house, this look doesn’t just nod to Jacobs’ time leading design; it also recreates Naomi Campbell’s Spring 2004 Louis Vuitton campaign, in which she is clad in the same ensemble (minus the jeans), reclining on a sand dune. (Fittingly, Zendaya’s “Dune: Part Two” is coming to theaters next spring.)
Campbell and Jacobs both dropped hearts in the comments under Roach’s Instagram post, sharing joyful approval of Zendaya’s casual-but-stunning look in the City of Light.
