admin VSJ Consulting is a New York-based communications & brand development consultancy seeking an intern to support their team. Candidates must be detail-oriented, multi-taskers, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate has interest in/knowledge of the fashion industry, strong understanding of social media, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Support with sample trafficking (ie. scheduling messengers, creating FedEx labels, sharing lookbooks, etc.)
· Support with research (ie. vendors for events, etc.)
· Support with events and press days
· Support with advocate seeding campaigns & paid partnerships
· Office logistics
· Helping to maintain tidy showroom appearance and organization; set up showroom for meetings and editor appointments
· Helping to maintain company contact database
· Helping to monitor media landscape for client coverage and opportunities
· Helping to compile client press clippings, reports, and social media coverage
Skills & experience
· Foundational understanding of different types of talent, brands, and publications
· Experience with MS Office – strong writing skills + detail oriented
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organization, prioritizing and time management
· Team player and good communicator
· Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign is a plus
