The results are in! Members of the American fashion industry gathered at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday night for the 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards, which recognize some of the top creative talents working in fashion today.

Hosted by Anne Hathaway (who came to the rescue less than a week prior to host the ceremony, as previously-announced emcee Sarah Jessica Parker had to drop out “due to unforeseen circumstances”), the event was sponsored by Amazon Fashion for the second year in a row. The company introduced its own prize, the Innovation Award, which went to Kim Kardashian’s Skims in 2022 and Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop this time around.

Some honorees — like those of the Innovation Award, Fashion Icon, Board of Director’s Tribute, Founder’s Award, Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, Media Award, Environmental Sustainability Award and International Designer of the Year — were announced ahead of time. Though, we did learn that Alina Cho is the first Asian-American to receive the Media Award. The four big winners (Womenswear Designer, Menswear Designer, Accessory Designer and Emerging Designer) were revealed live, and were voted on by the CFDA Fashion Awards Guild, which includes CFDA members and other industry professionals (including editors at Fashionista).

See all the winners below as they’re announced in real time. You can find all the nominees here, and last year’s winners here.
