The Wie Suite, Vestiaire Collective, and Wölffer Estate Hosted an Intimate Summer Gathering for Visionary Women

The misty skies didn’t part in time for The Wie Suite, Vestiaire Collective, and Wölffer Estate’s Sagaponack dinner party—but that didn’t stop the gathering from enjoying all that summer has to offer. As the sun faded further beneath the clouds and evening sky, extended tables adorned in The Wie Suite’s soon-to-be debuted color scheme—vibrant, powerful blue, orange, and florist Arthur Golabek’s lush display of orange dahlias, blue delphinium, and blue tweedia, brought all the brightness the evening could ever need. The jovial guests, who were also companions, transmitted the rest of the light.

Every guest invited epitomized the values of Dee Poku’s The Wie Suite, a membership community for senior leaders, creators, and founders. “Joey is an amazing founder and owner. Samina is an amazing executive. Both women embody, ‘What can I do, how can I help, and how high?’” said Poku. Co-hosts, Joey Wölffer of Wölffer Estate Vineyard, and Samina Virk, North America CEO of Vestiaire Collective, wanted to toast not only the end of summer among the vineyard’s luxuriant expanse but also the inspiring women in all of their lives who make evenings like Tuesday’s, possible.

The spectacular dinner grounds, a rustic-modern space roosted on a rise overlooking 55 acres of meticulous vineyards, served as the ideal backdrop for summer’s ending. “I’ve always hoped to be sitting at a table like this. It’s a pinch-me moment to be here with all of you. The Wie Suite has been a total chain for my life—I’m with this incredible group of women who always say ‘yes’, which is really rare to have,” Wölffer said gently, following a round of clinking glasses and cheerful whoops.

As attendees conversed, waiters circulated with zucchini fritters, lobster bites, and trays of Wölffer wine before a dinner brimming with fresh heirloom tomatoes, burrata, pearl couscous, and a vegetable Napoleon. “I’m so impressed by this amazing group of women, who are supporting and uplifting each other,” Virk expressed. “This is our first touch-point to get to know our community of fashion lovers and amazing women, and tonight is about celebrating these visionary women, and toasting the end of summer with a little rain.”

The crowd of women was as tasteful and delightful as the atmosphere. Guests included Anu Duggal of Female Founders Fund, Ariane Goldman of Hatch, Athena Calderone of EyeSwoon, Beth Birkett-Gibbs, Bobbi Brown, Claire Chan, Danielle Weisberg, Jennifer Fisher, Laney Crowell, Lauren Bush, Rebecca Minkoff, Stephanie Horton, Jenny Fleiss, Lauren Singer, Moanna Luu, and more.
