The Full H&M x Rabanne Lookbook — With Prices — Is Here

H&M describes its latest designer collaboration — with Julien Dossena’s recently-renamed Rabanne — as “a high-energy collection of shimmering show-stoppers.” And, with a launch date set for Nov. 9, it arrives just in time for all your holiday dressing needs. 

Though it’s inspired by a 1970s pool party, H&M x Rabanne, which was announced during Paris Fashion Week, pulls from the house’s most recognizable collections and design signifiers (chainmail! paillettes! shimmer!) to create a party-ready capsule that spans both fashion and home, so the H&M shopper can fully immerse themself in Dossena’s world. 

“I approached this collection with a desire to create an inclusive, instinctive vision of fun, drawing out the playful side of Rabanne with the chainmail and sequin pieces and offsetting them with 1970s tailoring and leisurewear,” the designer said in a statement. “Paco Rabanne was a genius when it came to radical design and innovative materials; I’m excited to take that philosophy further with a collection that makes our icons more accessible and also pushes the boundaries of sustainability.”

The full lookbook dropped on Oct. 24, just a little more than two weeks before the collection becomes available in select H&M stores and online at hm.com. We also got pricing: On the fashion front, prices start at $29.99 for a pair of men’s socks and go up to $749 for a chainmail dress. (The metallic apparel inspired by some of the most recognizable Rabanne runway pieces — and thus the ones likely to sell out first — range from $129 to $749.) There’s also a home selection featuring sleek silver and gold vases, trays, candle holders, lamps and a coin curtain, plus plush bath sets and printed rugs, cushions and blankets, priced between $20.99 (for a cup) to $581 (for a rug).

H&M x Rabanne also unveiled a short film by Xavier Dolan starring Anok Yai, Noma Han, Rianne Van Rompaey, Vinnie Hacker and Issa Perica, that imagines a very fashionable Sci-Fi dance party.
