admin Earlier this summer, the designer Erdem Moralioglu went on holiday to India with his husband Philip Joseph. On their first visit to the country, they went on a wide-ranging tour with stops in Jaipur’s Chhavi Nivas, Kothari’s Patwon Ki in Jaisalmer, the Mehrangarh Museum in Jodhpur., and naturally Agra, the site of the famous Taj Mahal. Moralioglu’s husband is an architect, so it’s not surprising that many of Erdem’s snapshots feature architectural marvels from the region, although there were certainly stops to check out beautiful fabrics along the way.
Will the vibrant colors of the region make their way to one of Erdem’s future collections? It may seem too soon to tell, though of course the maximalist designer was likely to have returned from his trip with enough inspiration to last many lifetimes.
