The Best Fashion Instagrams of the Week: Elle Fanning, Akuol Deng Atem, Alexa Chung, and More

The great outdoors were the backdrop for many of the week’s best fashion Instagrams—with utilitarian-chic outfits to match. First came Emma Chamberlain, who elevated the traditional hiking ensemble with purposefully chunky boots, a bow-bedecked mini skirt, an outdoorsy tee, and sunnies on. For Lily Collins, a cycle through Copenhagen called for denim, a quilted coat, and a black ball cap—an idyllic fall fit. 

Elsewhere, Akuol Deng Atem brought back the bandana shirt-inspired top and ruched tennis skirt—this time in a bright peach color—while Alexa Chung’s plated pieces drew inspiration from a stylized disco ball. Dua Lipa went all black, a lace bandeau layered under a velveteen bodysuit, the look pepper with silver accessories (a look designed, as indicated by the caption, for a dance floor). 

And Elle Fanning cemented the season’s want of a classic button-up, her black iteration an ideal choice for the coming transitional weeks.
