Sarah Jessica Parker brought along quite the fabulous guest to the New York City Ballet’s 2023 Fall Gala — and no, it wasn’t Matthew Broderick. (Though, he was there, too.) We’re referring to the dramatically long black ribbon she wore tied elegantly into her half-up ponytail by Serge Normant. It stole the show, even at an event that has become quite the fashion-filled affair thanks to her involvement with the organization.
Parker is one of the gala chairs, alongside other fashionable folks like Andy Cohen, Laverne Cox, Claire Danes, Diane Kruger and Naomi Watts. Carolina Herrera served as an honorary chair, and the brand she founded played a big role: Creative Director Wes Gordon is responsible for the new costumes in George Balanchine’s “Who Cares?,” and dressed many of the best-dressed attendees that walked the red carpet, including Ariana DeBose, Dianna Agron and SJP herself.
