Now Your Dog Can Be a Sandy Liang Girl, Too

A little more than a week after petwear company Little Beast came after me with its latest collaboration with Lisa Says Gah, it announced another partnership that feels like an attack on myself, my family and my wallet.

Little Beast worked with Sandy Liang on a winter capsule of puppy-and-me clothes that pull from the brand’s famous colorful fleeces and knits (and penchant for bows, of course) to offer matching styles for pet and owner.

“Combining Sandy Liang’s feminine yet edgy ready-to-wear designs with Little Beast’s expertise in the pet industry, this line of winter outerwear and accessories is a stylish dog mom’s dream,” the press release reads.

There’s the Little Bommy Puffer Jacket in Barbados cherry red, embellished with bows all over ($965 for human, $149 for pet); the Lil Grass Fleece Jacket in burgundy, boasting a retro flower detail ($695 for human, $88 for pet); the cropped Mulled Cardigan in both a neutral and a bubblegum pink wool blend ($295 for human, $98 for pet); the Lil Rivetto leather belt and collar with heart-shaped brass studs ($249 for human, $88 for pet); and Lil Jiji tote made to carry your furry friend comfortably ($149).

Little Beast has been beefing up its roster of fashion collaborators over the past few years, but this is by far the biggest name it’s brought on. (It may position itself as a dogwear brand, but who’s to say cats can’t also don Little Beast’s knits?) Meanwhile, Sandy Liang also just dropped its first-ever home collection, which includes a ribbon runner and a checked apron — so it’s now easier than ever to fully immerse yourself in the brand’s world.
