New Balance Launches the Tekela v4 Low Paisley Edition

Press Release

NEW BALANCE LAUNCHES FOOTBALL BOOT INSPIRED BY HARVEY ELLIOTT’S DOG

7th November 2023 – New Balance has revealed its brand-new boot for young Liverpool star Harvey Elliott, the New Balance Tekela v4 Low, Paisley Edition.

The boot design takes inspiration from Elliott’s beloved dog, Paisley, who is an incredibly important part of his life. When not starring on the pitch, Elliott enjoys spending his days off with Paisley, with his canine companion a constant in his life.

The result is a totally unique red boot that features a metallic silver dog bone graphic, as well as an illustration of Paisley on the boot’s heel. It is a celebration of this connection with his four-legged friend, as well as being symbolic of his wider relationship with Liverpool and his family.

Always a red, Elliott grew up as a lifelong Liverpool fan just like his father, and he is now beginning to build his own legacy with his boyhood club whilst inspiring the next generation of players.

New Balance Tekela v4 Low, Paisley Edition is the culmination of a variety of key character traits of Elliott: humble and expressive, on and off the pitch; quietly confident yet relentlessly ambitious.

“Being able to have Paisley with me on my boots is incredible,” said Elliott. “He’s such an important part of my life and represents something even bigger to me: family. The connection to Paisley and my family through these boots is amazing, and I’m proud to create something so unique.”

Andrew McGarty, Head of Global Sports Marketing at New Balance said: “This limited-edition boot, inspired by Harvey’s dog Paisley, connects his extraordinary play on the pitch with his personal story. It is more than just a boot, it’s a symbol of his passion and the connections we all create through our everyday lives. We are so proud to be able to create a boot that reveals a detail about Harvey off the pitch and a boot that drives him on the pitch.”

New Balance Tekela v4, Paisley Edition is the latest version of New Balance’s latest boot, the Tekela v4 Low, a laced version of the incredibly popular Tekla v4 boot.
