Former IMG Models president Ivan Bart passes away at 60
Ivan Bart, a long-time president of IMG Models for three decades, passed away over the weekend at the age of 60. Bart became the creative director of the agency in 1994, shortly after IMG added on its modeling division. Shein buys Missguided
Marking its first purchase of a British brand, e-commerce giant Shein has purchased Missguided, acquiring its intellectual property rights and trademarks. Frasers, the current owner of the brand, is set to keep Missguided’s real estate and employees, following the deal. Reuters‘ James Davey reports that while the financial details of the sale were not publicly shared, Frasers has said that the transaction opened up “exciting conversations” about collaborations across the British department store’s brand portfolio. {Reuters}
