Meg Ryan covers Glamour
Styled in a Malene Birger sweater by Carolina Orrico, Meg Ryan is Glamour’s December 2023 cover star, and the 62-year-old actor is opening up about directing during the pandemic, the joy of parenting and her rom-com golden trifecta: “When Harry Met Sally”, “Sleepless in Seattle” and “You’ve Got Mail.” Ryan is returning to acting with her new film, “What Happens Later,” which also stars David Duchovny. “As an old person now, I love my age. I love where I’m at,” Ryan told writer Caitlin Brody. “Aging is not that terrifying. We’re all doing it. I wish someone had told me earlier, ‘Just relax. It is what it is. Vogue pays tribute to Davide Renne
Only 10 days after starting his new role as creative director of Moschino, 46-year-old designer Davide Renne suddenly died. Alessandra Pellegrino, a longtime friend of Renne’s, pays tribute to the late designer with a story that was originally published in the December issue of Vogue Italia and that honors his life, his talent and his deep love for fashion. Pellegrino shares stories of the early days of their friendship, Renne’s constant dedication to his craft and quotes from his many loved ones. “You were sincere, you were real, and the false and opportunistic sides of fashion never changed you,” Pellegrino writes. “Maybe you didn’t even see them.” {Vogue/paywalled}
