Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world’s eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We’ll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, “Meghan Markle Wore a Thing.”
On Monday, seemingly every A-lister in Hollywood congregated at Beyoncé’s Los Angeles “Renaissance” birthday show, meeting the performer’s request to wear silver in celebration of Virgo season. Attendees of the concert at Sofi Stadium pulled together to wear their best metallic fashions, and no one was exempt from the singer’s ask — not even Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.
Posing alongside Kelly Rowland and Kerry Washington, Markle wore a silver sequined mini skirt and an Anine Bing black halter-neck tank top — paired with her signature glam look of soft smoky eyes and long waves.
This wasn’t Markle’s first appearance at the “Renaissance” world tour. The former actor was also spotted during night one of the Los Angeles shows on Saturday, that time wearing a different variation of sparkly silver bottoms. For that show, Markle styled a long, sequin-adorned pencil skirt with a plain white tank top, and seemed to also convince her husband, Prince Harry, to dress in a silvery-grey-toned ensemble as well.
They’re far from the only famous attendees of this tour, though: Scores of recognizable faces — including Madonna, Paul McCartney, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Timothée Chalamet, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Quinta Brunson and Ayo Edebiri — have congregated to profess their Beyoncé fandom.
And with three more tour dates in Virgo season left to go, it’s only fair to assume we’ll see at least a few more celebrities bringing out their best silver-and-chrome looks for the Queen herself.
