Meghan Markle Wore a Thing: Monochromatic Bleusalt Cashmere Set Edition

Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world’s eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We’ll be following the Meghan Markle Effectwith our column, “Meghan Markle Wore a Thing.”

In a newly released video, Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry congratulate the recipients of the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund — an initiative that supports youth-led organizations changing the technology industry.

Markle, the Duchess of Sussex — who serves on the Youth Power fund Advisory Committee — kept it casual, but still luxurious, for the appearance, wearing a cashmere set (specifically, a camel-hued sleeveless turtleneck and matching flared pants from the basics brand Bleusalt).

In line with Markle’s personal commitment to becoming “net zero by 2030,” according to a statement released on the Archewell website, Bleusalt also claims to be working toward becoming a zero-waste brand. This video appearance marks the latest example of Markle’s continuing efforts to bring a sustainable sensibility to her fashion choices; she often re-wears looks and prioritizes brands that have shared their own commitments to a more environmentally mindful approach.

For a bit of sparkle amongst her monochromatic outfit, the former actor stacked several gold bangles on her left wrist and wore simple small gold hoop earrings to finish. Staying consistent with her typical glam, Markle also wore her long hair down and lightly waved, while a subtle brown smoky eye and neutral pink lip color completed her makeup.
