Judging by Emily Ratajkowski’s enviable coat collection, she’s a hot contender for the queen of fall. From her oversized leather bomber jacket to her growing leather trench coat collection, along with her warm-toned wardrobe, the model and author is making us want to scrap our fall closets.
In her latest outing, EmRata took her dog Colombo for a walk, wearing a floor-length, cognac-colored suede coat with a black shearling lining from Nour Hammour, which retails for $2,328. She kept the rest of her look simple, contrasting the statement coat, pairing it with a black turtleneck and a pair of black tights tucked into knee-high black leather boots. For her accessories, Ratajkowski channelled the drama of her coat, wearing a pair of black cat-eye sunglasses and gold Bottega Veneta drop earrings. A regular dog-walking fit, no doubt!
This isn’t the first time in recent memory that Ratajkowski has opted for a sexy, mysterious fur-lined coat perfect for a femme fatale. On Halloween this year she was spotted out in a coat with a fur-lined lapel and cuffs, with matching fur-lined stiletto boots. The looks are equal parts campy and chic, and reminiscent of Meredith Blake from The Parent Trap’s would-be après ski attire. If there’s ever (another) remake, we would like to nominate Emily Ratajkowski for the role.
