The first full trailer for Loki season 2, starring Tom Hiddleston, dropped this morning. The beloved Disney+ series re-acquaints viewers with the Time Variance Authority (TVA) in the wake of the timeline-shattering finale, and introduces Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan as a TVA repairer, of sorts, named OB.
After the events of the season 1 finale, it appears that Loki is slipping through time, causing him to glitch out—kind of like what happens in Into the Spider-Verse when Spider-People are away from their home dimensions.
And while we only get a brief glimpse of him, the trailer also includes another look at a Kang variant, Victor Timely, played by Jonathan Majors. The second post-credits scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania showed Loki and TVA agent Mobius (played by Owen Wilson) encountering Timely. The new trailer shows Loki and Mobius descending on a World’s Fair-like environment, where it looks like they’ll be meeting Marvel’s badguy-in-chief.
The next season of Loki drops October 6.
