Fine jewelry brand Lagos has expanded its presence in New York with the opening of a new boutique in Bloomingdale’s 59th Street location. The expansion sees the luxury department store more than double its offering of Lagos collections while providing customers with a new visual shopping experience.
The new shop, which features high-end materials throughout in line with the brand’s visuals, also showcases several hand-blown glass sculptures by artisan Nate Cotterman commissioned for the store that complement the assortment of gemstones on offer.
“This is truly a milestone for our brand as we continue to grow and expand into new categories,” said founder and CEO Steven Lagos in a statement. “We’ve enjoyed a long, productive partnership with Bloomingdale’s, and we’re excited that we now have a flagship to call our own in such an important luxury market.”
To mark the opening of the new store, Lagos is offering shoppers at 59th Street an exclusive look at Lagos Couture, a capsule collection featuring unique, limited-edition styles with premium materials and gemstones.
“Lagos consistently delivers innovative and unique collections that our customers cherish,” said Jennifer Jones, Bloomingdale’s senior vice president and general merchandise manager, in a statement. “It’s a pleasure, with this expanded footprint, to offer our 59th Street shoppers more access to this iconic brand and its exclusive offerings.”
The new Bloomingdale store will offer the most extensive Lagos collection in New York and across all Bloomingdale’s locations.
