Multiple outlets confirm that the Jonas brother has filed for divorce from the Game of Thrones actor. According to People, the filing claims “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.” Reportedly, the couple has a pre-nuptial agreement in place.
The news comes after a weekend of rumors about the couple’s relationship status. While some tabloids reported the split was imminent, Jonas was spotted wearing his wedding ring during a concert in Austin, Texas. Now, however, it appears their split is confirmed.
The two share two daughters together. Their first, Willa, was born in 2020. They welcomed their second child—who they have not publicly shared the name of—in 2022.
In 2019, they married at a chateau in Provence, France in a star-studded wedding that attracted everyone from Priyanka Chopra to Maisie Williams. Earlier in the year, they also had a smaller wedding in Las Vegas, held hours after the Billboard Music Awards.
The two were first linked together in 2016 and got engaged when Turner was 21 years old. “I think once you’ve found the right person, you just know,” she told Rolling Stone in 2019. “I feel like I’m much older a soul than I am in age.”
