On November 16, GQ’s annual Men of the Year Party will be back and bolder than ever. To celebrate the magazine’s 28th MOTY issue, we’re gathering the most influential people from across the worlds of fashion, entertainment, and sports in Los Angeles, where GQ’s global editorial director Will Welch will be joined by a cadre of high-octane co-hosts who embodied this past year in pop culture: Jacob Elordi, Hollywood’s (and Gen Z’s) white-hot leading man; Kim Kardashian, the bar-setting reality star turned mega-mogul; and Travis Scott, the pivotal multi-platinum musician. Plus—as an extra special guest—the menswear legend himself, Tom Ford.

This year’s Men of the Year bash is an ode to our current cultural moment, as defined by the stars whose work spans both reality and hyperreality, whose moves have unlocked new stratospheres of business, clout, and success: Elordi, whose Euphoria momentum has carried him into critic-darling leading roles in Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla and Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn. Kardashian, who turned her underwear brand Skims into a fashion empire. Scott, whose 2023 album Utopia broke streaming records worldwide. And Ford, who sold his namesake business to the tune of $2.8 billion and has his next-chapter sights set on a return to Hollywood.
All that, plus this year’s hosts are also just down to have a good time—and if the MOTY parties of yore are any indication, this year just might be the best time yet.
“I’m excited for a party. I love a party,” Kardashian tells GQ, though she admits: “I actually hate hosting a party. Thank God I have some co-hosts.” In other words, GQ’s 2023 Men of the Year Party will be a prime opportunity for Elordi, Scott, Kardashian, and Ford to maximize their joint slay. Stay tuned for November 16—and be sure to check back here for updates.
