It feels like the current season of Paris Fashion Week has been happening for at least several years at this point. Sure, I may be a bit biased as a fashion writer, but it seems that the fatigue is starting to settle in for showgoers — and manifest sartorially. With such an all-consuming and no-breaks schedule, it was inevitable that the street style crowd’s outfits would soon reflect their longing for a bit of ease.
That’s likely why, on the second-to-last-day of the Paris shows, many show atendees kept things cozy and comfortable — opting mostly for baggier, more relaxed silhouettes, like low-waist straight-leg trousers, oversized blazers and even the humble roomy T-shirts (some people even wore sweatpants).
