As the weather takes a dive, the desire to be cozy at all times is stronger than ever. Irina Shayk is proving an excellent blueprint for staying comfortable while still looking chic.
The model took a stroll in New York today wearing a zip up sweater coat that is a much chicer alternative to leaving the house swaddled in a blanket (though it looks just as pleasant). Shayk wore a black calf-length jacket with a shawl collar and a waffle texture. She kept her hands tucked inside her sleeves, á là Ariana Grande in her hoodies.
The only color in Shayk’s otherwise monochrome look was her bright orange Birkin. (She also owns one in black crocodile.) Halloween may be behind us, but she’s making a case for orange and black year round. Not one to slack on the accessories, Shayk wore a pair of small, futuristic rectangular shades, and a pair of black leather Maison Margiela Tabi boots.
Shayk is a crusader for offbeat shoes. A dedicated fan of the hoof-like Tabi, she also owns them in ankle strapped block heels. The model has also shown her support for the controversial Miu Miu thong boots on several occasions. When it comes to her personal style, we can always count on Shayk to spice up even the most basic cozy going out ’fit.
