Bows have become a sort of hyper-fixation of mine in the last year, whether they’re on my bags, my dresses, my blazers or simply in my hair.

As fun as it is to DIY them with ribbons I’ve collected over the years, it’s just as satisfying to find an already-made bow that gives you the “I need to own this” feeling immediately. That’s where Jennifer Behr’s Belle Nuit collection comes in: Though every piece — from the four-looped hair bow to the pearl-encrusted bow barette — is dreamy as can be, the Matilda Jaw Clip stands out because it addresses my most important hair concerns.

I usually style my hair either in a single braid or twisted into a drugstore claw clip. So, finding a clip that not only holds all of my hair up without endless twisting to lock it into the comb, but also gives my hair a finished appearance, has been particularly exciting. I haven’t reached for an undecorated hair accessory once since adding this to my rotation.

Whether I’m going out in more formal attire or just running errands in a T-shirt and jeans, a bow (especially this one) is my new favorite way to make a look 10 times better.
