As if his status as the internet’s boyfriend wasn’t enough, Paul Mescal has also officially become everyone’s dream fashion boyfriend in a new campaign for Gucci.

The Irish actor stars in the Italian brand’s new set of celebratory images, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Horsebit 1953 loafer. Throughout the campaign, the 27-year-old star is seen wearing everything from a plain white T-shirt and black trousers to blue boxers and a trench coat — keeping it simple for a focus on the snazzy shoes and of course, Mescal himself.

Fans on X (previously known as Twitter) have been sharing their excited reactions to the photos accordingly, with several users applauding the brand and talent combination for their shared attributes of elegance and charm. Other users got a bit more vulnerable online, saying, “Paul Mescal in shorts is my sexuality” — which, honestly same.
