A consistent force on (and off) runways for nearly four decades, Naomi Campbell has redefined what longevity looks like in the industry — and served countless memorable looks while doing so.

The British supermodel got her start in the in the ’80s, landing her first cover at the age of 15. She went on to take the industry by storm, walking for virtually every major brand on the fashion month calendar, fronting pretty much every notable glossy and breaking barriers for Black models at every step.

Along the way, Campbell also forged close relationships with designers like Gianni Versace and Azzedine Alaïa, serving as a muse for both. Her deliberate approach to personal style — from her sparkly afterparty looks to her equally stunning formfitting gowns — helped cement her as one of the best-dressed people in fashion.
