Paloma Elsesser first walked the Ganni runway in 2020. On Thursday, she opened the brand’s Spring 2024 show during Copenhagen Fashion Week, this time wearing a look she co-designed.
Elsesser kicked off the Danish label’s latest fashion show in a burgundy two-piece consisting of a hooded top and pants, which Ganni later revealed to be a part of an upcoming collaboration with the model. In a press release, Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup said the goal of this capsule is “to empower individuals of all shapes and sizes by offering thoughtful, elevated styles.”
Paloma Elsesser x Ganni will have a range of dresses, tops and pants, in sizes EU 32-52 (according to Ganni’s size guide, that’s a US 0-22). It’ll be available for purchase in the spring (date TBD). The look Elsesser wore on the runway is described as “inspired by textured surfaces and the tactility of trees, taking form in a transparent, hooded dress silhouette” — which could give us a sense of the vibe of the collection.
Elsesser said the collaboration with Ganni “represents a powerful step towards a more size-inclusive and empowering fashion future. Our shared vision of inclusivity but most importantly fun introduces our collection that aims to inspire curiosity and self-acceptance. I’m truly excited to share this with you all.”
