For Florence Pugh, it seems a new week is an opportunity for a brand new hue. Pugh’s buzzcut made its first appearance at the Met Gala in May in her natural brunette, before she veered into Barbie-core territory with a pink tint at the Valentino couture show outside Paris earlier this month. Then, for the London premiere of Oppenheimer, she went for a flaming orange that perfectly matched her billowing Valentino gown.
Now, it seems it’s time for a blank(ish) slate. The actress stepped out in London for a Lotus event last night having switched up her closely-cropped coiffure yet again—dying it platinum blonde as her latest blink-and-you’ll-miss-it hair statement.
Pugh paired her cherry red Moschino jumpsuit—a chain-bedecked number from the brand’s resort 2024 collection—with a bleached, brushed-up buzz that called to mind both ’90s boy bands and the iconic short hairstyles worn by Kristen Stewart before her. A subdued lip and coordinated blush grounded the bright moment, as did a dusting of bronzer and brown shadow. The only question: Which color will she turn to next?
