The changing October weather keeps shifting between a cool autumn breeze and a random return of summer warmth, leaving us reaching for oversized quilted coats one day and thick-rimmed sunglasses the next.
Our editors are fully embracing the seasonal transition with a range of fall footwear, from cozy slippers to knee-high rain boots decked out in silver harnesses. They’ve also been intrigued by statement lingerie this month, specifically a pink silk corset with pearl straps, a cheeky pierced bralette and a black-cat matching set that screams “spooky season”. We also can’t get enough of adorable accessories, like puffy heart-shaped bags, Halloween phone charms and emotional support water bottles. Then, of course, there are the classics, like gold hoops and timeless LBDs.

Anna Sui Low Back Midi Dress, $405, here, and on sale for $204 here (sizes XS-L): “In addition to giving just the right kind of ’90s minimalism, this dress is incredibly comfy, doesn’t wrinkle and is ideal for fall and winter weddings. (Read more about it here.)” —Dhani Mau, Editor-in-Chief
Agolde Cooper Cargo High-Rise Jeans, $250, available here (sizes 23-32): “Cargo pants usually have a distinctly ‘Kim Possible’ vibe (and there’s nothing wrong with that), but this denim pair combines the utility of an excessive number of pockets with the structure of denim. I’ve been eyeing them for months, and since Agolde is my go-to denim brand, I finally bought them this month. (They do run a bit large, so size down if you plan to do the same.)” —Steph Saltzman, Beauty Director
Extreme Cashmere N.280 Bi, $700, available here (one size): “I’m generally terrified of cashmere, for the sole reason that I admittedly get lazy when it comes to laundry and carefully following specific garment-care instructions. This isn’t great, I know. But that means that when I come across a garment that would fall into this category but comes with a “machine washable” label, my ears prick up. And they did for Extreme Cashmere, an extremely (sorry) chic cashmere brand from the Netherlands, which tucks a very easy-to-follow care label into every single one of its knit products. Founder Saskia Dijkstra styled me in an oversized rounded-neck cardigan herself, tucking and scrunching up in all the right places, and I have never felt cooler (or cozier!).” —Ana Colón, Deputy Editor
