As the world anticipates “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” Taylor Swift has been taking to the streets of New York City with her closest girlfriends, transporting us all back to the Girl Squad days of 2014.
For what might’ve been her buzziest date yet, Swift stepped out with actor Sophie Turner for a girls’ night out in the West Village on Tuesday, wearing Reformation head-to-toe. The “Welcome to New York” singer put on a fall-ready palette, consisting of dark emerald green, rich dark brown and burnt orange. Though we’ve moved past the “Red (Taylor’s Version)” promotional cycle, it’s tough to deny that this look was most giving an “autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place” energy.
The warm-toned crewneck sweater is none other than the Radlee Knit Dress — a cozy $98 piece from Reformation, another example of Swift’s preference for more contemporary brands. She paired it with the brand’s $448 Nylah Nappa Knee Boot in a deep brown hue. For accessories, Swift wore a sold-out $378 green top handle bag from Luana Italy as well as plenty of layered necklaces — a style choice she repeated most recently at the MTV Video Music Awards.
