Dillard’s is set to launch a new limited-edition Antonio Melani capsule collection this month in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Designed in collaboration with four influential breast cancer survivors: founder of Big Flower boutique Stacy Ammon, Houston-based lifestyle influencer Mely Cruz, leading general and cosmetic dentist Dr. Bridget Glazarov, and founder and chief executive officer of brrr° Mary-Cathryn Kolb, each woman was asked to create her own pieces inspired by her breast cancer journey.
Encouraged by each woman’s candid recount of her brave fight against breast cancer, Alexandra Dillard Lucie, vice president of merchandising at Dillard’s, asked each to design an Antonio Melani dress and matching shoes to reflect their journey with breast cancer via fashion.
“The way in which these young women have approached this terrible illness has been an exceptional inspiration to many,” said Alexandra Dillard Lucie in a statement. “They didn’t allow cancer to dull their spirits or fabulous fashion sensibility even when in treatment.”
The US fashion retailer is set to donate a percentage of the proceeds from the capsule collection to the Pink Agenda, a nonprofit organization committed to raising money for breast cancer research and care.
“Using our fashion platform in partnership with these amazing women, we’re furthering the fight against breast cancer, and we are honored to stand beside those who face this diagnosis,” added Dillard Lucie.
The Antonio Melani Breast Cancer Awareness capsule collection is now available in select Dillard’s locations and online at dillards.com for a limited time.
