admin Skims continues its streak of major talent bookings for its campaigns with its latest, starring Cardi B in the brand’s cotton collection.
The Bronx-born rapper poses for Italian photographer Vanessa Beecroft while wearing pieces from Skims’ cotton line and flaunting her curves and tattoos — both signature to her image.
“I’ve always loved the Skims Cotton Collection,” Cardi B said, in a press release. “It’s so sexy and makes me feel snatched yet comfortable while hanging out at home. The new styles and colors I wore on set are even better, and I can’t wait to wear them all the time.”
Kim Kardashian’s intimates brand is growing increasingly known for its campaigns featuring idols of the moment, whether that be Kim Cattrall, SZA or actors from the “White Lotus.” The latest portraits are evidence of the brand’s successful celebrity casting strategy: Cardi B is a pop culture darling as it is, but the images come just weeks after “Bongos,” a fresh track with Megan Thee Stallion, and just days after her birthday.
