Boot Barn, the largest western and workwear retailer in the US, is commemorating its 45th anniversary this year with the launch of a coffee table book honoring the ever-iconic American cowboy.
Named Shelter From the Storm, the self-published 336-page hardcover table pays tribute to many larger-than-life figures that encapsulate the American spirit.
Featuring photographs of landscapes highlighting the country’s beauty and individuals representing the Western essence, the book examines regions where cowboy culture persists and its influence on art and fashion, offering visual and written narratives on the American cowboy’s history.
Isha Nicole, Boot Barn’s senior vice president of marketing, said in a statement: “We set out to honor authentic cowboys and present a panorama of people, places, and events that embody their ideals. The mythology surrounding cowboy culture allowed us to bring a creative sensibility to stories of the West, anchored by timeless themes of rugged individualism and pioneering achievement.”
Available today online for 54.95 US dollars, the book will also retail in Boot Barn stores across the country from late October onwards.
