admin Last night, Loro Piana celebrated the launch of a cozy collection with an even cozier dinner. Away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood, the brand opted instead for a private beachside villa as its destination, having guests arrive just in time for the sunset.
Waves from an outdoor sound bath set the tone for what was a more relaxing cocktail hour than most. Some guests happily kicked off their heels and loafers to head onto the sand, while others cozied up around a fire pit on the deck. When attendees ventured inside and upstairs, they found a message in a bottle station (the materials for which had come straight from the shore behind them), and in a spacious room overlooking the water, a co-ed display of styles from the brand’s newest Cocoon collection, which for the first time includes menswear. Back outside, a soothing music performance from Aidan Bissett later ensued, just before the formal sit down.
The evening’s intimate guest list included Sofia Richie Grainge, Felix Mallard, Gavin Casalengo, Madelaine Petsch, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Mimi Cutrell, every last attendee somehow on par with the unofficial colorway dressed code of the evening (a sea of warm tans, and beiges, and taupes, as is Loro Piana’s fall collection). As they retreated to their seats, the table outfitted in ivory candles and floral arrangements, there couldn’t have been a more picturesque moment.
