Around this time last year, reports began swirling around the sneakerverse suggesting that Travis Scott was moving on from the Air Jordan 1 to focus on other silhouettes from the Nike archives. While these rumors seemed to hold water for a couple of months, in June of this year, a few blurry images popped up on Discords across the land showing off the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG Golf ‘Neutral Olive.’ And, against all odds, it’s actually releasing.
Marking the Texas-born rapper’s first-ever golf shoe, it’s inspired by one of Scott’s earlier spins on the Air Jordan 1 Low. Working on top of neutral olive suede, it’s overlaid by panels and panels of off-white leather and accented with neon-toned branding stitched across the tongue tag and heel badge.
Look below, and the midsole has been infused with Nike’s Air tech for additional comfort and cushioning. It’s also been redesigned with an even grippier outsole for better traction on the green, making it ideal for sneakerheads who golf (and those who pretend to). The sneaker is then finished off with Scott’s signature backwards Swoosh in black, which was first introduced on his Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Dark Mocha’ from 2019.
