Balenciaga announces its first-ever brand ambassadors
For the first time in the brand’s history, Balenciaga has announced brand ambassadors. French actor Isabelle Huppert and Thai triple threat PP Krit Amnuaydechkorn have been selected for “their creative work, values and approaches to life,” the brand announced in a statement. Thom Browne and Andrew Bolton collaborate on retrospective coffee table book
In honor of the 20th anniversary of Thom Browne, the American designer and his life partner Andrew Bolton, curator of the Met’s Costume Institute, have collaborated on a special anniversary coffee table book. The commemorative item brings together over 200 images of Browne’s runway looks, specially commissioned photography by Johnny Dufort and an introduction by Bolton, the book’s creative director. “Thom Browne.” will be released in October and is now available to pre-order on thombrowne.com and phaidon.com/thombrowne. {Fashionista inbox}

Glossier announces recipients of 2023 grant for Black-owned beauty businesses
The Glossier Grant Program announced the recipients of this year’s grant, which aims to address the legacy of inequality and exclusion in the beauty industry. Each of the six winners will be paired with Glossier mentorship, gain access to business programming and participate in one-on-one sessions with industry experts, Glossier community partners and even the company’s CEO, Kyle Leahy.
