admin VSJ Consulting is a New York-based communications & brand development consultancy seeking a full-time PR & Marketing Assistant. The role will support the Vice President and Senior PR Manager with day-to-day strategy and execution, working across accounts in the luxury, fashion and lifestyle space.
Candidates must have a penchant for developing brands and have a meticulous attention to detail, be thoughtful, optimistic, and resourceful. The ideal candidate must have a genuine interest in fashion and cultured, and a desire to develop their career in PR & marketing. Immediate hire.
Responsibilities
● Day to day client management
● Comfortability pitching and securing editorial placements
● Sample management and trafficking
● Support Influencer seeding strategies & paid partnerships
● Support with events and press days
● Secure VIP placements
● Logistics
● Maintain regular contact and close relationships with key editors, stylists, and influencers
● Monitor media landscape for client coverage and opportunities
● Compile client press clippings, reports, and social media coverage
Skills & experience
● 1-2 years of experience within the luxury fashion, accessories and lifestyle communications field
● Foundational understanding of different types of talent, editors, and stylists
● Mastery of MS Office, strong presentation & writing skills
● Creative and strategic thinker
● Able to identify opportunities through a pro-active approach
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines. Excellent prioritizing and time management
● A thoughtful and responsive approach to client management. Team player
Salary range
● $50-$60k based on experience
