Like 7 p.m. sunsets, Thanksgiving’s turkey, and your childhood, the Black Friday deals came and went. Or did they? For the past couple of months, your friendly neighborhood deal hunters (that’d be us, by the way) have been tracking Black Friday deals like a pig hunts for truffles. Sure, we found some duds, but more often than not we found some real gems. While Black Friday’s technically behind us, landing us squarely in Small Business Saturday, we’re seeing some carry-over deals that refuse to quit. And for once, it might have been a good idea to procrastinate.
Here’s the lowdown: We’re seeing great-to-excellent deals across many of the categories that GQ scouts for Black Friday sales: tech and gadgets, menswear, sneakers, grooming products, home goods and kitchen appliances, travel (including luggage), and beyond. Particularly in tech and tech-adjacent home goods, you can save a lot of money on various “last year’s models”—whether that’s vacuums, headphones, or Apple products—but also some current products that literally just came out (think Bose’s newest headphones or even something like the Apple Watch Series 9.)
At this point in time, retailers are on the fence about calling these late Black Friday deals or early Cyber Monday deals (oh boy, just you wait until we report back on that), but regardless of the marketing, you and your wallet are going to win out. Be sure to check this space, bookmark this page, or whatever you need to do to keep a close eye on what’s worth adding to your cart this Cyber Week.
