Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world’s eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We’ll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, “Meghan Markle Wore a Thing.”
Meghan Markle has been on a fashion roll these past few days while attending the Invictus Games, a sporting event founded by her husband, Prince Harry, that honors wounded, injured and sick servicepeople.
From her Banana Republic shirtdress to her J.Crew and Staud set, the Duchess of Sussex’s recent appearances have been a lesson in monochromatic dressing. She kept the streak going on Friday, arriving at a cycling event in an all-cream ensemble.
According to @WhatMeghanWore on Twitter, the former actor wore a crisp blazer layered over a Zara romper with cargo pockets from top to bottom. (The exact one-piece isn’t on the site, but a similar style is on sale for $28 at zara.com.) She paired the look with black Saint Laurent slide sandals, a Cesta Collective olive green crossbody purse and a zodiac diamond pendant — likely featuring her own star sign, Leo — from Brilliant Earth. Markle finished the look off with a pair of Krewe sunglasses and plenty of gold jewelry.
