admin And just like that: New York Fashion Week has come to an end, but not without leaving behind an abundance of outfit inspiration. Though showgoers had to brave the occasional torrential downpour, they didn’t let it dampen their style — and we’ve rounded up the best street style pictures to prove it.
As the summer’s scorching heat slowly wound down, the style outside of the shows in New York teased transitional dressing in the form of fall classics: cozy knits, cardigans and every kind of boot (specifically knee-high platforms). Ballet flats — especially from Jil Sander — took over; cool-girl sneakers were also an on-the-go favorite. Bold colors (and the return of fringe) helped brighten up the stormy days, while plenty of white popped up, mirroring the color trending on the runway.
