Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world’s eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We’ll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, “Meghan Markle Wore a Thing.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been stepping out in celebration of the 2023 Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany over the past several days. And they’ve missed no opportunity to flaunt their style at the event, which was founded by the Duke of Sussex and honors wounded, injured and sick service people.
On Thursday, Markle went with an earth-toned palette, pairing L’Agence’s silk Dani blouse in camel with tan belted trousers by Gabriela Hearst. She stood tall (in matching Manolo Blahnik heels) alongside Prince Harry and NATO representatives on the sidelines of the Games. Oh, and the sunglasses? Miu Miu.
Over the past few days, Fashionista has kept an eye on the Duchess of Sussex’s outfits, from her endorsement of the skinny jean revival to that J.Crew cardigan moment. Each has experimented with silhouettes, but has stuck to a primarily neutral and monochrome color story that’s relaxed yet elegant. Given her known influence on trends, might dopamine dressing take a back seat in the coming seasons?
