Note that at this size, it needs to be checked.

In all honesty, we haven’t test-driven Coolife luggage before. But this handsome fella has 4.5 stars from nearly 14,000 ratings, putting it near the top of Amazon’s well-loved luggage rankings. Probably because it’s expandable, has a TSA lock, and three-stage handle. Note that it needs to be checked—though Coolife has a carry-on size that’s on sale, too, but it’s not expandable.

Elegance Carry-on Suitcase, 20-inch
In a world of aggressively shiny, sculpted hardside suitcases, Level8 brings a blessedly blacked-out, smooth-side design that, according to Amazon reviewers, punches above its weight for quality and lasting power.
